Deckchairs on a beach Bottles of Lovely Eldeflower Lovely Van
We only started making Lovely drinks last year but already they are becoming very popular! To keep up with demand we’ve just planted 100 elderflower trees in our garden and by the summer we’ll be using our own home-grown herbs and flowers too.

This summer we’ll be refreshing the palettes of thirsty music lovers
at Womad and other festivals around the country.

We are...

• Victoria Earle and Rick Freeman.
• Rick's son Olly (who helps with artwork and illustrations).
• Rick's daughter Eva - our chief taster.
• Seamus the sheep.

The following describes what we set out to do...

•  Make and sell products that we want to drink.
•  Use local or English ingredients where possible.
•  Only use packaging that has a function.
•  Keep things simple, honest and transparent.
Sell our drinks nearby and contribute to the area's economy.
•  Give work to local suppliers, artists and artisans.

What we don't want to do...

•  Use any concentrates or flavourings.
•  Make any health or wellbeing claims about our drinks.
•  Use dishonest marketing techniques.
•  Use brand consultants.

We also like to...

•  Eat lots of fresh, local food.
•  Drink organic wine.
•  Lie in our hammocks (if it's not raining).
•  Head to the coast.
•  Go on long walks.
•  Camp.
•  Surf (though none of us can do it properly).

We have...

•  A small fridge in our kitchen. 1
•  A Ford Transit van that runs on chip fat. 2
•  Two bikes.

We haven't got...

•  A 4x4, Sat Nav (we like maps) or BlackBerrys (except the kind you can eat) .

Footnotes.

 1. We buy small amounts of food from local shops rather than filling a fridge with loads of stuff we don't really need. Try it.. it works out cheaper.
2. This is used mainly for delivering drinks but also for heading to the coast.
