Easy-Peasy Vegan Granola

Granola makes a great, healthy breakfast. It's also super simple to customise to suit your tastes. Here's our favourite easy-peasy vegan recipe, that you can adapt for what you have hanging around in your cupboards.⁠


The beauty of this recipe is that you can mix and match to make something you like. But here are some suggestions that we think work well.


Oats - Gluten-Free, Regular, Jumbo

Nuts - Cashews, Almonds, Hazelnuts, Brazil Nuts, Coconut Flakes, Pecans, Walnuts

Seeds - Pumpkin, Seasame, Chai, Sunflower, Flax, Hemp

Syrup - Date, Maple, Brown Rice, Agave, Golden Syrup

Oil - Sunflower, Coconut, Vegetable 

Toppings - Raisins, Goji Berries, Sultanas, Dried Fruit, Cocoa Nibs

 


What you'll need:⁠
- 400g of Oats 
- 100g of Nuts 
- 100g of Seeds 
- Pinch of Salt⁠
- 150ml of Syrup 
- 80g Oil⁠
- 100g of Toppings 

Method:⁠
1) Preheat the oven to 160°C ⁠
2) Roughly chop your nuts⁠
3) Mix together your oats, nuts, seeds, salt, syrup and oil⁠
4) Spread your mix out on a baking tray and press down so it's even⁠
5) Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, until golden or longer if you like it crunchy⁠
6) Leave to cool then add the toppings of your choice⁠
7) Voila! Keep your granola in an airtight container and enjoy it for a few weeks - if it lasts that long
